Alien Racing

F1 in Schools is an international competition that challenges teams of school students to set up their own Formula 1™ team and run it as a mini-enterprise project. 

 

We are responsible for managing budgets, marketing & branding, sourcing sponsorship and designing, manufacturing and racing a miniature gas-powered balsa-wood Formula 1™ car using 3D CAD (Computer Aided Design) and Virtual Wind Tunnels.

 

This challenge aims to change the perceptions of science, technology, engineering and maths by creating a fun and exciting learning environment for young people to develop an informed view about careers in engineering, Formula One, science, marketing and technology. 

 

The UAE programme is based at Yas Marina Circuit’s F1 in Schools Centre of Excellence. The program currently has got 12 million students participating in 34 countries and with World Competitions being held in different countries each year.
